Cookie policy

This website uses cookies and other tracking tools to offer you a better and personalised web service. This Policy transparently informs you about how and for what purposes cookies and other tracking tools are used on this website.

What are cookies and other tracking tools, what are they for and who installs them?

Cookies are small text strings that the websites you visit send to your device (e.g. PC, tablet, smartphone…), where they are stored and/or read by the browser, allowing the browser to send information to whoever installed the cookies in order to offer you optimal browsing, produce visit statistics and possibly offer you personalised content and targeted advertising. Cookies are contained in various elements hosted on the website page itself (such as advertising banners, images, videos, etc.).

While browsing this website, you may receive the following cookies on your device:

  • first-party cookies: cookies sent by the controller's website you are visiting;
  • third-party cookies: cookies sent by a website other than the one you are visiting, which installs its own cookies through the controller's website.

The controller manages and is responsible for first-party cookies, whereas it has no control over third-party cookies, neither over the third party's activity nor over the possibility that it may change them over time. With regard to third-party cookies, the controller acts as an intermediary. The cookies and other tracking tools used by this website can be classified into the following macro categories:

  • Technical cookies, which are needed for the website to work;
  • Profiling cookies, which track the user's behaviour in order to analyse it and offer services based on their preferences.
Who is the Data Controller?

The Controller of your personal data is IFE Italian Foundation Equipment, with registered office at Via San Cassiano, 78, 31055 Quinto di Treviso (TV), Italy, VAT no. IT04360170262, info@italianfoundationequipment.com, tel. +39 0422 300197. It will act in accordance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness and transparency, protecting your privacy and your rights.

Which cookies and other tracking tools does this website use? For what purposes and on what legal basis? Is providing the data mandatory? What happens if I don't provide it?

This website only uses technical cookies, which do not require the user's consent and are used to carry out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network or to provide an information service explicitly requested by you. This category includes cookies with the following purposes:

  • browsing or session cookies: ensure normal browsing and use of the website, allowing for example a purchase to be made or authentication to access restricted areas;
  • anonymised analytics cookies: used solely to collect information, in aggregate form and therefore not attributable to the individual, on the number of users, the most visited pages and the places from which users connect, in order to produce statistics on the service and the use of the website. These cookies may also be third-party cookies: in this case, however, the website Controller has anonymised them and the third party refrains from combining analytics cookies with other processing or transmitting them to further third parties;
  • functionality cookies: allow users to browse according to a series of selected criteria (for example the language) in order to improve the service provided.

Providing the data collected through the cookies described above is not mandatory, but it is necessary to connect to the website and provide the service. If such data is partially or totally not provided, it will not be possible to use the website or problems may arise in its use.

You can manage your consent for the individual categories of cookies and other tracking tools directly in the dedicated cookie area accessible from the banner or at the bottom of the page, disabling any categories of cookies not necessary for the website to work.

The cookies in this policy and in the banner are grouped into homogeneous categories. If you would like to know the complete real-time list of cookies and their retention period, contact the controller: it will provide it to you!

Where is the personal data located?

Some data collected by cookies may be transferred abroad to locations outside the European Union. Such transfer will in any case be carried out in compliance with the safeguards required by the GDPR for this type of activity.

Who can access your data? To whom do we disclose it?

The data collected through cookies may be used by collaborators authorised by the Controller, such as staff responsible for website maintenance and management, marketing and administration. It may also be used by third parties (service, infrastructure and IT providers involved in managing and supervising the website and similar) acting on behalf of the Controller and duly appointed as data processors pursuant to art. 28 of the GDPR. With your consent, it may also be used by third parties that install their cookies on the Controller's website.

What are your rights as a data subject?

The GDPR grants you the following rights in relation to your personal data, which you may exercise within the limits and in accordance with the applicable regulations:

  • right of access to your personal data (art. 15);
  • right to rectification (art. 16);
  • right to erasure – right to be forgotten (art. 17);
  • right to restriction of processing (art. 18);
  • right to data portability (art. 20);
  • right to object (art. 21): the Controller will stop the processing unless it demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
  • right to object to a decision based solely on automated processing (art. 22);
  • right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

You can exercise these rights by sending a written request to the Data Controller at the postal address or by email, as indicated above.

Finally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) if you believe that the processing of your data infringes the regulations in force (art. 77), or to take legal action (art. 79).
